Chicken Karahi

Prep Time: 1 Hour   Cook Time: 25 - 30 Mins  Serves: 4 - 6

Introduction

Quick and easy this lip smacking chicken get a boosting flavor from tomato paste. It goes great with pita bread or with plain rice.

Ingredients
  1. 1 Whole Chicken 
  2. 4 tomates
  3. Red Bell pepper
  4. Tomato sauce
  5. Oil 3 tbsp
  6. Cilantro
  7. Fresh Garlic
Directions
  1. Take oil and heat it up , and add freshly finely chopped garlic.
  2. As garlic starts to turn light brown, add chicken and cook the chicken with garlic until it looses its pink color.
  3. Add tomatoes without skin and add finely chopped red bell peppers.
  4. Cook the chicken for another 15 mins and then add tomato paste and salt according to taste. Cook on high heat for 5 minutes or until excess water dries up, but still leaving a thick gravy. 
  5. Bring to low heat and let it cook, once the oil separates from the gravy and the chicken, add finely chopped cilantro and cook for another 5 mins and serve.

Ingredients
  1. Chicken 1 kg
  2. Hung curd 1 cup
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Black pepper 1 tsp
  5. Oil 2 tbsp
  6. Dry fenugreek leaves 2 tbsp
  7. Cream 1 cup
Directions
  1. Marinate chicken with salt, hung curd, black pepper for 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil and put marinated chicken in pan cover and let cook.
  3. When cooked add cream, slow flame and mix cream.
  4. Add fenugreek leaves mix, do not cook more after adding cream.
  5. Remove, dish out and a serve hot.
